Design brief

Alternative Party is a demoparty and festival of digital culture attended by coders, musicians, designers, hackers, and other digital enthusiasts. In Alternative Party, you can both catch a glimpse of the technology of the future, and experience nostalgic trips with vintage hardware. The immersive
and diverse party program guarantees entertainment for casual visitors as well.

Now Alternative Party needs your audio design skills. Design a theme song for Alternative Party 2010. It should convey the space theme of the event and take listeners on a journey of space exploration. Whether this musical voyage goes far beyond our galaxy or stops right here on planet Earth is totally up to you.

The theme song will be played in the actual event before and after live gigs, presentations and demonstrations on the stage. Winner of the contest should be able to provide a shorter 5 second jingle version of the song as well.

In addition to winner receiving the prize money, winner will also be awarded with event tickets. Traveling fees are not included. There will be a prize award ceremony for the winner at the event.
