Earn More Money with Co-Production

Co-Producers are the unsung heroes behind every great album. People like Phil Spector with his pioneering work with the Beatles and his wall of sound technique. Then there is the work of Dr. Dre and his production skills on the album “2001”. Still not convinced about the importance of Co-Producers? We have one last name for you. Rick Rubin *Drops Mic* Make Money – Put your ears to work Audiodraft currently has over 100 talented Co-Producers on site. Out of a community of 20,000 this is a tiny fraction of our talented community. We want to change that as we […] Read more »

Sound Designer Spotlight: Bogdan Kamuz (zaSLON)

Last autumn zaSLON quickly amped up his game and won 5 productions and challenges in just a few months. We at Audiodraft couldn’t miss his sudden jump to success (though we know there really aren’t any shortcuts to success, but long miles behind every pro!) so we wanted to hear from zaSLON himself about his learning curve and ambitions. First, could you tell us something about your background. Where are you from? How did you start creating music? I am from a small town named Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region of Ukraine. At the moment I live in Kharkiv. In my childhood I […] Read more »

Co-producers – What’s that, and how can I become one?

As a music producer, there’s another way to take part in productions besides creating audio: by becoming a co-producer! Being a co-producer can be useful in many ways: you get your share of the project royalties while learning about professional creative productions from a client’s perspective. As you start understanding the customer point of view by listening to other composers’ work in a more focused way, you’ll become a better music producer yourself. We emailed two of our most prominent co-producers–WheelieR and NVSound–to learn from their perspective what it means to co-produce on Audiodraft Agency Studios. The other side of […] Read more »

Sound Designer Spotlight: Sotiroff

Hi Sotiroff! You’ve been active sound designer on AudioDraft since last September. How did you find AudioDraft? I read about AudioDraft’s Nokia Tune Remake contest from a newspaper, but unfortunately I missed that contest! Would you describe your musical background a little bit? When did you start producing your own music? What is your main instrument? I started producing music about 3 years ago in a production music studio in Sofia city (Bulgaria). My first instrument was guitar, but after few months I stopped and started to play the piano – I was 5 years old little boy. I’ve studied […] Read more »

Word from the Community Manager

Greetings you sound aficionados! It’s been an awesome journey working with the AudioDraft community and watching it grow from zero to over 15 000 large during the last two years. From Finland to a global phenomenom – It has been a truly unique experience to affect and witness that! Now it is my time to pass the community management throne to our junior community manager Aleksi Keränen as I will take a role of AudioDraft Evangelist in the future and dedicate some of my time in my own artist career. What does that mean? You’ll see me around the globe […] Read more »

Sound Designer Spotlight: Kiestor

Hi Philip! You joined the AudioDraft community last February. Since then you’ve participated in 28 contests and won 6 contests. Congratulations! How did you find AudioDraft? One day I heard the doorbell of my studio and as I opened the door I saw Philippos Gemelas (“man on the run”), who is a composer and friend of mine as well. We admire each others work. He asked me if and how quick I can compose under specific order and deadline, and when I answered positively he showed me AudioDraft and said: “Have a try to this one!”. That was it and […] Read more »
