AudioThing was founded in 2011 by composer, sound designer, and programmer Carlo Castellano.

To enter the contest please pay close attention to the following brief:

We are looking for songs that have a Synth as the main instrument and its got to sound washed out, retro and legitimately from the 80's! check out our reference videos for more ideas on the sound we are looking for.

Your song must be composed in one of the following BPM's, and your entry MUST contain the BPM number somewhere in the title. For example "Molly Ringwald died too young 140"

You can submit an entry at:
- 90BPM
- 120BPM
- 140BPM

All entries must be original compositions. Submitting entries is a great way to increase your producer status and get invited to more productions.

We are also looking for Co-producers to give feedback on the entries, so apply for the job of co-producer now, to also increase your experience in this area of work.
